ALOHA!
THE SUMMER IS UPON US!
Lemon lime and bitters, beer in the sun.
Parks and gardens, cool garages with mangy couches, where the concrete is soo cold goddamn it we don't care if there's motor oil all over it we'll lie in it anyway!
Tan lines and sweaty palms, romances, smelly trams.
Late warm nights, roaming over town!
Well we here at Aussameteens are excited and rightly so.
The next issue is themed forest, we have interviews with the Spill Collective and Margret Durow and Philadelphia Grand Dury among others. The theme is mainly inspired by this video.
Fucking amazing, they also do an amazing cover of walk the line by Johnny Cash, check it out below.
Aaaaaaaah it sure looks cold in that forest and in the streets of Paris.
But that's not why the theme is forest, the theme is forests because they are magical and riddled throughout folklore, they make us think of mushrooms and wolves and acorns and girls in red capes.
anyway, get ready for the next issue, there's still time to contribute if you'd like to.

so here's to summer, here's to frolicking, here's to adventure.
until next time.
OH and look forward to a forest themed launch party! EEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh fuck yeah!
xx anna

a cold night
for the latest issue, we got some friends and went to saint kilda beach.
our friend mikaela fisher photographed us running around,
we got hot chocolates that were overpriced.
we got sand in our shoes,
and then we went back to mikaelas house and cooked marshmallows over her fire and her stove.
here are some more photos that didnt get into the issue.
